me God, for worse....
-Had a fluctuating relationship with God, though I feel confident in now saying that I'm finally starting to find solid ground in Him.
-Completed my Harry Potter collection, which I've been both looking forward to and dreading ever since I read Sorceror's Stone in first grade... And I'm not ashamed to admit that I cried through the whole of Deathly Hallows......
YES, EVEN WHEN SNAPE DIED. I was on his side the whole time, thnx.
-Gained and lost a boyfriend, but then realized that he was my very best friend through all of the drama... And that he's still my very best friend. <3
-Got to know Elizabeth more... Y'know, I've known her basically my whole life, and I had no idea I knew so litte about her until she became my mentor this year.
-Got Hershey. For the first time, I've been given a glimpse of God's love through my relationship with Hershey; I love him unconditionally, even when he disobeys or doesn't listen to commands. This just recently struck me as a prime real life example of God's unconditional love for everyone, even when we screw up.
-Started the ball rolling on worship dance at church. I completely understand that the girls and I have a long way to go with this, but this revolution has begun.
-Rediscovered what it means to have fun for the sake of having fun. I went on a lot of bike rides this past year. I hung out with people more often... And when it was at Bailey's house, it was all a load of nonsensical crapola. I love that. :]
-Stepped into leadership positions. In band, I was one of the clarinet section leaders, and at church, I was voluntold into being an asisstant Life Group leader... And as weird as this whole thing still is to me, I'm getting better at leading.
-Learned that sometimes it really does take a smack upside the head to get a point across.... I think that's 'nuff said on this subject. xDD
-Took risks, and big ones by my standards... Okay, frankly, *any* risk is a big risk in my book. I'm a non-risk-taker like that... And yet, I laid everything out on the line a number of times this year. Sometimes I was right to take that risk and it paid off or is slowly starting to... And others I shouldn't have taken, but I'm finally learning from those mistakes and starting to leave the regret and hurt behind me.
